What you'll do

• Review referred consumer debt-collection lawsuits
• decide whether to accept each matter
• communicate with plan members
• prepare and file appropriate pleadings
• negotiate with creditors and opposing counsel
• handle appropriate limited-scope services, motions, discovery, and settlement activity
• appear remotely or in Iowa court when needed
• maintain case records and status updates
• comply with Iowa rules and professional obligations.
