Community Canvasser

Job overview

The Community Canvasser role is onsite in Beaver Falls, PA, with canvasser pay starting at $21 per hour; team leader pay starts at $22 per hour. The Outreach Team is conducting grassroots outreach to promote utility-scale battery energy storage systems and clean energy initiatives. Canvassers engage voters door to door, share campaign information, collect survey responses, and encourage clean-energy pledges. Team leaders also check in with canvassers, ensure they have needed materials, and assist with training and administrative work.

What you'll do

• Engage respectfully with the public
• deliver campaign messages
• collect complete survey answers from voters
• encourage voters to sign a clean-energy pledge
• attend staff training and follow safety protocols. Team leaders additionally manage a small field group, check in with canvassers, ensure materials are available, and assist directors with training and administrative work.
