Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Job overview

The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician role is onsite with the Columbus service team in Columbus, OH, paying $28–$55 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities. Mechanical Optimizers provides HVAC service and installation solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize commercial and industrial heating, cooling, airflow, electrical, controls, and refrigeration systems
• perform preventive maintenance, inspections, replacements, and startup checks
• test system performance
• explain findings and recommendations to customers
• document work
• maintain vehicle stock and coordinate parts
• participate in the on-call rotation
• support apprentices and safety practices.
