The chef plans and supervises daily pastry, dessert, and baked-goods production, ensuring recipes, food handling, presentation, portion control, sanitation, and inventory meet established standards and production needs.

What you'll do

• Create, plan, and supervise daily production and distribution of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• follow recipes and standards
• control food costs and production quantities
• ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
• maintain pastry kitchen sanitation and equipment
• supervise hourly kitchen and pastry associates
• help plan seasonal menus
• and order and maintain supplies.
