The Travel Registered Nurse (RN), Labor and Delivery role is an onsite, 13-week travel assignment in Providence, RI, paying $73.34–$75.34 per hour. Shifts are set according to unit needs, with the schedule confirmed before the assignment begins; an extension may be possible. The nurse supports patients through labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period as part of an established care team. The nurse monitors mothers and babies, interprets fetal heart rate tracings, administers medications, and supports pain management. The role also assists physicians and midwives during deliveries and emergencies, provides postpartum and newborn care, educates families, and documents care accurately.

Why this role

Requires an active Rhode Island or compact RN license, at least two years of recent labor and delivery experience, current BLS and NRP certifications, fetal monitoring competency, and residence at least 60 miles from the facility. ACLS and RNC-OB are preferred.
