Junior OCS Engineer

This role exists to assist in the design of Overhead Contact Systems (OCS) for rail and transportation projects. The engineer collaborates with senior staff to develop design reports, specifications, and cost estimates, building a foundation in systems integration and transit infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Assist in the design of OCS layout, wire tensions, foundations, and structures for light rail, commuter rail, streetcar with pantograph, and electrified buses with trolley poles.
• Collaborate with senior engineers for systems integration and design.
• Support the preparation of design reports and development of documents, including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Participate in the review of project submittals and assist with responses to requests for information from contractors.
• Provide assistance in installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to the management of OCS projects under supervision.
