Forward Deployed Engineer

The Forward Deployed Engineer role is hybrid in Dallas, TX, with a remote position and travel to customer sites 50% of the time. The base salary range is $190,000–$225,000 per year. The role supports 4MindsAI’s enterprise AI fine-tuning platform and its customer deployments. Working across engineering, AI, and live customer systems, the engineer deploys, debugs, and optimizes the platform in customer environments. The role also turns field findings into integrations, reusable deployment practices, and product improvements that help customers put domain-specific AI into operation.

What you'll do

• Partner with customers from presales through onboarding and production
• debug, tune, and optimize real-time LLM pipelines
• build integrations, automations, and scripts connecting customer systems to the AI stack
• work with product and core engineering to resolve field issues
• develop deployment playbooks and reusable frameworks
• share customer insights to inform model tuning, user experience, and roadmap priorities
• represent engineering with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
