What you'll do

• Plan, develop, and organize medical services
• provide and oversee patient care, medical policies, and procedures
• conduct examinations and review intake documentation, assessments, and treatment plans
• prescribe and adjust medications as appropriate
• supervise medical staff and collaborate on supervision of non-medical staff
• participate in care planning, case conferences, regulatory preparation, and compliance
• provide consultation, crisis intervention, referrals, and staff education
• determine eligibility for opioid treatment and medication-assisted therapy services.

Why this role

Requirements include an active, unrestricted New York physician license, MD or DO degree, three years of residency, one year of substance use disorder practice experience, active DEA registration, DATA 2000 waiver, Basic Life Support, and other listed credentials. Addiction Medicine board certification must be obtained within four years of hire.
