Math Tutor

Job overview

The Math Tutor role is onsite in Oak Park, IL. Compensation is $14–$19 per hour. Mathnasium’s mission is to help children understand and enjoy mathematics while building confidence. The tutor provides instruction using the Mathnasium Method and helps students strengthen math understanding through practice and feedback. The role supports students’ learning by evaluating their work and collaborating with the instructional team to deliver a consistent experience.

What you'll do

• Provide instruction and tutoring to students
• teach using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• collaborate with team members to support students
• assist with non-instructional tasks as needed.
