Residential Property Manager

The Residential Property Manager role is onsite in Berkeley, CA. Compensation is $75,000–$95,000 per year. The position manages building operations and property team members while supporting tenant retention and the property’s fiscal and operational performance. The manager oversees tenant relationships, building maintenance, vendors, inspections, and financial reporting. The role coordinates with accounting, ownership, maintenance, construction, and property staff to resolve resident issues and support effective property operations.

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of smaller to moderate-sized buildings
• manage tenant relationships and resident issues
• lead property and move-in inspections
• assist senior leadership with projects
• coordinate with maintenance and construction teams
• oversee maintenance requests
• prepare financial, variance, and leasing reports
• process accounts receivable and payable coding
• appear at rent board and court proceedings
• manage vendors and collect bids
• train and manage a team
• ensure building systems meet code
• work flexible hours, including after-hours on-call as needed.
