What you'll do

• Evaluate and treat complex speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing impairments
• conduct videofluoroscopy and flexible endoscopic swallow evaluations
• develop and adapt therapeutic interventions
• participate in multidisciplinary care discussions and patient conferences
• mentor and advise less experienced therapists
• prepare and present at least one annual in-service
• contribute to performance improvement, departmental policies, and program development
• recommend equipment needs.

Why this role

Requires a master's or doctoral degree in an approved speech-language pathology program, two years of clinical practice including clinical fellowship experience, California Speech Pathologist licensure, and American Heart Association BLS. Competence in instrumental swallow assessments is required; MBSImP certification is preferred.
