The Maintenance & Service Technician role is onsite in Toano, VA, with an annual pay range of $40,000–$50,000. The Drying Company is a family-owned home performance contractor serving homeowners and businesses in the region. The technician maintains and repairs previously installed home systems, inspects problem areas, and discusses findings and solutions with homeowners. The role supports system performance and customer service through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, accurate records, and repair recommendations.

What you'll do

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on installed systems
• change filters and batteries
• test alarms
• check dehumidifiers
• remove and reinstall dehumidifiers and sump pumps
• dig for drain lines and outlets
• inspect systems and diagnose issues
• update electronic records with photos, notes, and estimates
• discuss findings and repair plans with homeowners
• identify problems, educate homeowners, and sell solutions.
