Commodity Buyer – Manufacturing

What you'll do

• Source and purchase assigned commodities
• negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery
• manage supplier performance
• set inventory levels with operations and maintenance
• create and track purchase orders and shipments
• resolve price, quantity, quality, and delivery discrepancies
• pursue cost reductions
• maintain ERP material data and reconcile invoices
• manage Kanban and vendor-managed inventory replenishment
• participate in nonconformance reviews and corrective action
• and coordinate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and logistics.
