The Maintenance Technician / Shift Lead – Second Shift is an onsite role in Newark, NY, working four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour. The role supports Ultralife Corporation’s manufacturing operations and production goals. Combining production leadership with equipment maintenance, the position helps keep production safe, timely, and cost-effective. It leads assigned production staff, supports process improvements, and installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs machinery and automated systems to meet quality and production standards.

What you'll do

• Assign work and support production goals
• train production staff
• coordinate with other shifts and support departments
• maintain compliance with safety and company policies
• set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and ultrasonic equipment
• perform diagnostics and preventive maintenance
• support new process and equipment startups
• manage preventive maintenance records
• and contribute to safety, efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
