STR’s Sensors Division develops advanced sensor systems, and the RAID Group transitions algorithms into real-time software for integration, experimentation, testing, and deployment. The engineer leads design and implementation of GPU-accelerated real-time software for RF sensor systems. The role helps move signal-processing algorithms from research prototypes into production-quality software for embedded and distributed platforms, while collaborating across engineering disciplines.
What you'll do
- Design real-time software components for RF sensor signal processing
- develop and optimize CUDA GPU algorithms
- translate MATLAB or Python specifications into C/C++
- architect components to open architecture standards
- optimize code for multi-core CPUs and GPUs under latency constraints
- develop tests and benchmarks
- document designs and technical reports
- contribute to program briefings and proposals
- conduct peer reviews
- and travel for integration events, customer meetings, and field demonstrations.
