Tool and Die Technician

Job overview

The Tool and Die Technician role is onsite in San Antonio, TX, with pay of $19–$24 per hour. The technician supports a manufacturing team by maintaining tooling and helping production meet quality standards. The role assembles, maintains, repairs, and inspects molds and tooling, troubleshoots issues, and supports mold changes and production trials. Accurate measurement, documentation, and coaching junior operators contribute to reliable tooling and efficient production.

What you'll do

• Assemble, maintain, and repair molds and tooling
• perform preventive maintenance and replace worn or damaged components
• operate grinding and manual milling machines
• inspect tooling with precision measuring equipment
• troubleshoot tooling issues and support mold changes
• inspect incoming molds and components
• prepare tooling for production trials
• train and assist junior operators
• maintain quality documentation and follow safety policies and 5S standards.

Why this role
