IT Field Technician – On-Call

The IT Field Technician – On-Call role provides local, onsite support across multiple U.S. cities; the posting states pay of $35 per hour for onsite IT and POS work. The technician troubleshoots computers and networks, configures peripherals, and documents customer work. Assignments are offered based on availability, proximity, and skills; outdoor TV mounting may also be offered based on experience.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot Windows and macOS issues
• resolve Wi-Fi, router, and wired network problems
• install and configure printers and scanners
• replace or upgrade hardware
• reinstall operating systems
• document work and communicate with customers
• install and support POS systems and Cat5e or Cat6 cabling
• outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup may be assigned based on experience.
