Job overview

The Principal Financial Product Development role is hybrid, with up to 50% remote work, and is based at Compeer Financial’s Bloomington, IL; Sun Prairie, WI; or Lakeville, MN office. Base pay is $105,700–$160,300. Compeer Financial is a member-owned cooperative providing financial services to support agriculture and rural communities. The role establishes and implements repeatable processes for defining, developing, launching, and optimizing loan products. It coordinates stakeholders across the organization to align products with client needs, market opportunities, regulatory requirements, and business objectives, supporting growth and a stronger client experience.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute processes to ideate, test, develop, and optimize loan products
• document and communicate the product development lifecycle
• build a PDLC playbook
• conduct market and competitive assessments
• define product features with cross-functional partners
• coordinate product launches and go-to-market strategies
• develop product KPIs
• use client feedback to inform design
• create internal training materials
• partner with credit, legal, and Business Technology
• monitor product performance and risks
• identify process and product improvements.
