Group Therapist — Detox and Residential Treatment

The Group Therapist role is an onsite, part-time position at Avenues Recovery’s detox and residential treatment facility in Aurora, CO. Pay is $25–$32 per hour. Avenues Recovery operates addiction treatment programs, including detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. The therapist conducts group-based clinical programming and helps clients develop coping skills and recovery tools. The role contributes to individualized addiction treatment by coordinating with clinical staff, tracking client progress, escalating significant concerns, and maintaining clinical documentation.

What you'll do

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to client needs
• help clients develop coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
• collaborate with clinical staff to track challenges and progress
• escalate significant client concerns to the Clinical Director
• document group sessions and complete clinical assessments and individual charting.
