The Waste Coordinator role is onsite in Troutdale, OR. Pay is $30–$45 per hour. GrayMar Environmental Services provides environmental remediation, hazardous materials management, waste disposal, and environmental emergency response services. The coordinator oversees branch waste-management activities and works with operations, sales, and waste-services colleagues to ensure waste is handled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements. The role supports accurate waste documentation, routing, storage, and disposal.

What you'll do

• Use Waste LINQ for data entry, manifests, labels, reports, and job packets
• manage waste profiles and amendments
• assist with 10-day activities, storage requirements, inspections, and records
• coordinate pickups and deliveries
• perform lab packing, job walks, inventory, sampling, and characterization
• support waste bulking and repackaging
• audit manifests
• assist with vendor invoices and pricing requests.

Why this role

Requires 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent science discipline, and experience handling and documenting hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Travel of 5–10% is expected; Class B CDL with hazardous materials endorsements is preferred.
