IT Support Technician I

Job overview

The IT Support Technician I role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with regular in-state travel to offices, treatment plants, well sites, and remote facilities. Compensation is $25 per hour, approximately $52,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility. JW Water provides water and wastewater services to communities across Arizona. As a first point of contact for technical support, the technician resolves employee hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues and helps maintain IT equipment and systems. The role also builds IT and operational technology inventories across company sites, supporting reliable utility operations.

What you'll do

• Provide first- and second-level support
• configure and deploy devices
• manage accounts, mailboxes, licenses, and permissions
• support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID
• troubleshoot basic network issues
• track tickets
• perform routine maintenance
• maintain IT hardware and software inventories
• support security practices

• document procedures and solutions.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED and one of the following: one year of hands-on IT support, CompTIA A+, or an IT associate degree or technical certificate. Arizona driver's license and clean driving record required; regular in-state travel is required.
