Area Sales Manager, Hotel Room, Group & Event Sales (Remote)

Job overview

The Area Sales Manager, Hotel Room, Group & Event Sales role is remote, with the preferred location in Minnesota and consideration for the Springfield, IL or Rapid City, SD areas. Base salary is $70,000–$75,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives. The manager grows room, group, meeting, and event business across assigned Sand Hospitality hotels.

What you'll do

• Prospect and secure corporate, group, sports, wedding, and other hotel business
• build client relationships
• conduct sales calls, visits, presentations, and site tours
• respond to proposals and negotiate rates and contracts
• sell meeting and event space and related services
• coordinate contracted details with hotel operations
• manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and reports
• and partner with hotel leadership on sales strategy.
