The Label Machine Operator role is onsite in Woodland, CA, at Pacific Coast Producers’ Woodland Distribution Center. Pay is $30.15 per hour. The facility packages, labels, and distributes food for retail and foodservice customers, supporting the company’s goal of providing affordable, high-quality food. The operator runs and monitors labeling machinery, verifies label and code accuracy, and performs quality checks so finished packaging meets internal specifications and regulatory requirements. The role also supports production flow through supply replenishment, documentation, routine maintenance, and coordination with line operators and plant leadership.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust automatic and semi-automatic labeling machinery
• verify label placement, date codes, lot numbers, and product identifiers
• perform packaging quality checks
• replenish labels, adhesives, and supplies
• coordinate with line operators and plant leadership
• perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting
• document production counts, inspections, downtime, and maintenance
• report defects and malfunctions
• clean and sanitize equipment
• assist with line changeovers and support other packaging positions as needed.
