Security Manager

The Security Manager position is full-time and in person at the Freedom Embassy in Washington, DC; the listing location is Arlington, VA. Approximately 15% travel is expected. The role develops security plans, assesses and mitigates risks, coordinates executive and event protection, oversees physical security operations and vendors, and works with law enforcement and other partners to support preparedness and incident response.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement security plans for facilities, personnel, executives, and events
• conduct risk assessments and mitigation
• collect and communicate threat intelligence
• oversee access control, perimeter security, surveillance, and security technologies
• coordinate event and executive security
• liaise with law enforcement, government officials, and private security partners
• manage vendors and service quality
• respond to incidents and emergencies
• travel as needed.
