Substance Use Disorder Counselor

What you'll do

• Orient patients to program rules, services, and rights
• assess patients and place them at an appropriate level of care
• complete treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required documentation
• maintain confidentiality under 42 CFR and HIPAA
• refer patients for professional consultation as appropriate
• facilitate group discussions and one-on-one counseling
• monitor compliance with the Medication Assisted Treatment Program.
