Job overview

The Restaurant Team Member role is an onsite, full-time position in New York, NY, with stated pay of $16.50–$18.50 per hour. NAYA serves fresh Middle Eastern food and trains, mentors, and promotes team members from within. The team member works across front- and back-of-house stations to prepare food, serve guests, maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards, and support smooth restaurant operations. The role also includes teamwork, customer service, and participation in training and development of new employees.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to recipes and portion standards
• wash dishes and tools
• receive and organize deliveries
• maintain storage temperatures and rotation
• clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
• greet guests, take orders, use the POS system, and handle payments
• stock and maintain stations
• support coworkers and participate in new-employee training.
