What you'll do

• Manage the classroom and provide instruction to co-leads or assistant teachers
• create and organize activities and lessons
• escort and supervise children in school areas
• address student issues
• communicate with parents
• assist with drop-off and pickup
• care for children’s daily needs
• plan games and arts and crafts
• monitor developmental concerns
• maintain records
• clean and sanitize toys and equipment.

Why this role

Experience with children ages 0–4 is required. A high school diploma is required; an associate’s degree or two years of college is preferred. CDA or early childhood education credentials or at least two years of early childhood program experience are highly preferred; First Aid and CPR training must be completed as required.
