Sales Associate

The Sales Associate role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. Compensation is $13–$17 per hour. The associate supports T & M Hardware & Rental by assisting customers and maintaining a clean, efficient sales floor. The role helps customers find merchandise and complete projects, supports store sales through product recommendations and add-on sales, and keeps products stocked and presented according to store standards. It also contributes to store operations through inventory assistance, customer orders, and other staff tasks.

What you'll do

• Assist customers in person and by phone, answer questions, help locate merchandise, and suggest add-on sales
• process special orders as needed
• maintain a clean and orderly sales floor
• inform customers about promotions and new products
• load products into vehicles as needed
• merchandise and restock products
• maintain signage and product presentation
• assist with inventory
• identify and respond to theft according to store policy
• attend staff meetings
• follow store policies and safety standards
• cut keys.
