Kennel Technician

What you'll do

• Walk boarding animals
• feed pets according to specified diets
• clean dishes and disinfect cages
• wash bedding and provide fresh food and water
• check in boarding patients and discuss care with clients
• provide enrichment and requested play or cuddle times
• record elimination, appetite, and signs of illness and notify veterinary staff
• administer medications, including oral medications and injections
• bathe pets as needed
• assist veterinary staff with boarding exams and other tasks
• clean hospital areas
• report repairs and supply needs.
