The Construction Estimator role is onsite in Burlington, MA, with an annual salary range of $58,811.80–$70,827.11. NELCO Worldwide designs, manufactures, and installs radiation shielding systems and related construction solutions for healthcare, industrial, research, and scientific facilities. The estimator develops accurate, competitive project estimates and bid proposals to help secure new business. The role reviews project documents, evaluates costs and risks, coordinates pricing with vendors and subcontractors, and supports project handoffs and estimating improvements.

What you'll do

• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, contracts, and scope requirements
• prepare labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and specialty-product take-offs
• develop estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
• identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
• solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• prepare RFIs and scope clarifications as needed
• assemble bid packages
• coordinate project turnover and support project teams
• maintain estimating records and databases
• occasionally visit project sites to assess conditions and scope.
