Commercial Restoration Estimator

Job overview

The Commercial Restoration Estimator role is based in Alexandria, VA, combining remote office work with site visits. Compensation is $70,000–$85,000 per year. RestoreCore helps families and businesses recover after property damage. The estimator assesses losses, develops scopes of work, and prepares and negotiates estimates to support restoration projects. The role coordinates with customers, insurance adjusters, project managers, production coordinators, business developers, and field technicians to help projects proceed with accurate budgets and documentation.

What you'll do

• Visit damaged properties to assess losses and develop scopes of work
• prepare estimates using Xactimate and other required platforms
• explain estimates to adjusters and negotiate scope and pricing
• collaborate with project managers on estimates, scope changes, budgets, and quality
• explain the restoration process and emergency service agreements to customers
• maintain project updates, estimates, photos, and documentation in DASH
• build customer and referral relationships
• participate in production meetings and training
• mentor developing estimators
• support the on-call rotation and emergency response as assigned.
