What you'll do

• Partner with installation and uniformed points of contact
• assess client concerns and provide short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible individuals, couples, families, and groups
• apply preventative approaches that support readiness and resilience
• build relationships within the military command structure
• attend and brief at staff meetings
• support installation events
• respond to critical incidents and approved on-demand requests
• manage duty-to-warn and restricted-reporting situations under DoD protocol
• provide approved presentations
• submit accurate daily activity reports while protecting participant confidentiality.

Why this role

Requires a relevant master's degree or higher and a valid independent mental-health license from a U.S. state or territory; provisional licensure may be acceptable for specific positions and locations. Adult MFLC assignment is expected to last 12 months, with a possible 12-month extension.
