Mental Health Therapist - Manassas is an onsite, full-time position in Manassas, VA. Compensation is not specified. Columbia Mental Health is a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN). This role exists to provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans to support clients' mental health and well-being within the community.

What you'll do

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with the team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.

Master's Degree

Experience

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field. Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
