The Infant, Toddler, Two's and Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Lemont, IL. Pay is $17–$20 per hour. The Learning Experience's teachers support its mission to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. The teacher creates a safe, engaging learning environment and implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways suited to each child's needs. The role also supports children's development through family communication and collaboration with center staff and leadership.

What you'll do

• Create a welcoming classroom for young children
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to their needs
• provide a safe, nurturing environment
• communicate children's progress and activities to parents
• partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals
• build relationships with families and coworkers.

Why this role

At least six months of preschool or daycare teaching experience and a high school diploma/GED are required. College early childhood education coursework or a CDA certificate and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred; must meet IL-DCFS guidelines.
