Charge Nurse (Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse)

What you'll do

• Provide general nursing care in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
• explain procedures and treatments
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• monitor resident comfort, safety, and vital signs
• document conditions, reactions, nursing history, and assessments
• notify supervisors or physicians of significant changes
• follow individualized care plans and provide resident and family instruction
• participate in quality improvement
• supervise CNAs and CMAs, including training, assigning work, and resolving problems
• follow memory-care guidelines when working in Carus Court.
