Senior Maintenance Technician (Millwright) — 2nd Shift

The Senior Maintenance Technician (Millwright) role is onsite at a client facility in Richmond, VA, on second shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Compensation is $75,000–$85,000 per year. ITAC provides engineering and construction services for process and industrial clients; this is a full-time assignment anticipated to last 12 months, with possible extension. The technician maintains and repairs production and facility equipment to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and support production goals. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots complex systems, leads repair efforts, and mentors other maintenance technicians.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems
• diagnose PLCs, motors, and controls
• interpret schematics and technical documents
• develop LOTO procedures, JSAs, SOPs, and maintenance documentation
• use CMMS
• coordinate repairs with production and contractors
• order parts
• lead breakdown and repair work
• mentor technicians
• support reliability, efficiency, and safety improvements.

Why this role
