The Line Cook role is onsite in Waipahu, HI. Pay is $15–$20 per hour. Highway Inn is a third-generation-owned Hawaiian and local food restaurant serving traditional Hawaiian dishes and local favorites. The cook prepares food at volume while maintaining consistency, safe handling, and presentation standards. The role also supports kitchen readiness through stock rotation, cleaning, and teamwork that helps provide prompt, high-quality guest service.

What you'll do

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods on the grill and with commercial kitchen equipment
• inspect and clean food-preparation and serving areas
• follow portioning, safe-handling, temperature, and presentation standards
• check ingredient quality and rotate stock
• perform stocking, cleaning, and daily kitchen maintenance
• assist coworkers in providing guest service.
