Paramedic, Inter-Facility Transport

The Paramedic, Inter-Facility Transport role is onsite in Marion, IN, with rotating 12-hour day shifts. Pay is $32–$40 per hour. The position supports an EMS provider’s inter-facility transport team. The paramedic provides advanced life support during planned and unscheduled patient transfers, maintaining clinical responsibility throughout transport and coordinating safe handoffs between sending and receiving facilities.

What you'll do

• Review transfer requests, reports, physician orders, and acuity documentation
• assess patients at sending facilities and secure lines, tubes, infusions, ventilators, monitors, and other devices
• provide ALS care including cardiac monitoring, medication administration, infusion continuation within protocol, airway management, and ventilatory support
• reassess patients and intervene per orders or medical control
• operate the ambulance safely
• coordinate with dispatch and care teams
• complete electronic patient care reports and handoffs
• maintain ambulance readiness
• apply transfer principles, protocols, and physician orders.

Why this role
