The Commercial Real Estate & Debt Financing Associate role is onsite in Roseland, NJ. The stated base salary is $170,000–$225,000 per year, plus a discretionary performance bonus, origination credits, and full benefits. The role supports the firm’s real estate and commercial finance departments, which handle complex transactions across the tri-state area and beyond. The associate advises lenders, borrowers, investors, and property owners through real estate transactions, financing, and development matters. The work advances client deals by coordinating documentation, due diligence, closings, and regulatory considerations from initial planning through post-closing execution.

What you'll do

• Structure, draft, and negotiate real property conveyances, commercial leases, and joint venture documents. Represent financial institutions and corporate borrowers in senior, mezzanine, construction, and permanent financing matters. Direct title reviews, surveys, environmental assessments, and corporate due diligence
• coordinate commercial real estate closings
• advise on zoning, land entitlement, municipal permitting, and regulatory matters
• and collaborate with corporate, tax, and litigation practice groups.
