Epic Special Education Staffing partners with clinics to find dedicated Physical Therapists. This role is responsible for managing the PT program, diagnosing and treating children's movement difficulties, and improving their physical function.

What you'll do

• Manage the PT program within the building and caseload.
• Interview children/caregivers and use physical examinations to diagnose the source of children's movement difficulties.
• Create unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be used.
• Help children to learn to move their bodies correctly, make their movements less painful, increase the functions of injured body parts, and heal from injuries.
• Assess clients and monitor their progress.
• Use techniques like functional training and exercise, medication, diet changes, and specialized equipment that is designed to treat and alleviate pain.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide training and support to non-PT professionals.

What we're looking for

Education

Valid Physical Therapist credential/license

Experience

2 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities including autism
