Staff / Principal Product Manager

Job overview

The Staff / Principal Product Manager role is onsite five days a week in San Francisco, CA. Compensation is $190,000–$225,000 per year. Inkitt develops consumer entertainment products, including serialized fiction, microdrama, and AI-native streaming platforms. The product manager owns a consumer product line and its revenue, identifies and prioritizes ideas using research and impact analysis, and drives approved work through design, engineering, testing, and launch. The role measures results against forecasts and uses experiments and post-launch reviews to improve product impact.

What you'll do

• Own a product line end to end, including its revenue
• set and defend the idea agenda with data
• research competitors, the industry, and users
• maintain a prioritized list of high-impact ideas
• build business cases and impact calculations
• drive work through specification, design, engineering, QA, and launch
• design and run experiments and ramp them based on judgment
• report results, including failures
• measure shipped features against predicted impact four weeks after launch
• raise product-thinking standards through pitches, specifications, and post-mortems.
