The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) role is onsite in Rockland, MA, with pay of $50–$55 per hour. South Shore is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility. The ADNS assists the Director of Nursing Services with the nursing department’s daily operations and clinical oversight. The role supports resident care and family relations while coordinating staffing, policies, medication practices, and care-service feedback.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing nursing department operations
• meet residents’ clinical needs and promote positive resident and family relations
• support effective communication and working conditions
• maintain, review, and develop clinical policies and procedures
• oversee staffing needs, schedules, and assignments
• make rounds and conduct visual inspections
• ensure proper medication administration, handling, storage, and auditing
• interview residents and families about satisfaction with care and services.
