What you'll do

• Conduct forensic examinations of digital and multimedia evidence
• use commercial, open-source, and approved government tools
• perform evidence identification, image and extraction review, hashing, timestamp analysis, artifact interpretation, anti-forensic detection, and user-activity reconstruction
• conduct initial forensic triage
• maintain chain-of-custody documentation
• prepare forensic analysis reports. Tool validation, peer review, expert-witness support, quality assurance, metrics, and training support may be part of assigned work.
