The Vice President or Senior Vice President, Head of Drug Discovery and Biology role is fully onsite five days per week at Acrivon Therapeutics’ headquarters in Watertown, MA; compensation is not specified. The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and leads drug discovery, biology, translational science, and DMPK/toxicology. The role exists to provide scientific and strategic leadership across the discovery portfolio, integrate multidisciplinary research and clinical data, and guide program decisions from target evaluation through clinical proof of concept. Acrivon develops precision medicines using its proprietary phosphoproteomics AP3 platform.

What you'll do

• Lead scientific and strategic work across the drug discovery portfolio
• guide analysis of phosphoproteomic data using the AP3 platform
• integrate discovery, biology, pharmacology, translational, DMPK/toxicology, and clinical data
• drive prioritization and decisions from target selection through clinical translation
• define critical experiments, decision criteria, risks, and mitigation strategies
• guide translational strategies
• interpret emerging clinical data with Clinical Development
• oversee external collaborators, CROs, and consultants
• develop R&D leaders and represent R&D in executive and Board discussions.
