The Spaceflight Data Scientist is an onsite role based in Houston, TX. The salary range is $107,900.00 to $195,050.00 per year. This role supports the Human Health and Performance Contract at NASA Johnson Space Center. This position exists to build mathematically grounded frameworks for contamination risk and biosafety protocols. The Data Scientist applies Bayesian decision theory to guide critical decisions for Mars sample return and human space exploration, ensuring the protection of Earth's biosphere.
