What you'll do

• Assess or develop scopes of work and resource needs
• manage project costs
• organize and staff field positions
• prepare estimates and review bid proposals, specifications, drawings, takeoffs, procurement, and contracting
• establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
• coordinate with clients, architects/engineers, and contractors
• direct the construction process through the onsite superintendent and management team
• mitigate problems and risks
• represent the company at project meetings and negotiations
• manage contract financial matters
• control schedules and contractual performance
• train and mentor team members.
