Senior Quality Control Manager

The Senior Quality Control Manager role is onsite in Washington, DC, with compensation of $50–$60 per hour. The position oversees quality for rehabilitation of underdrain filtration systems and associated backwash infrastructure at a wastewater treatment plant. The role exists to ensure construction, installation, testing, and commissioning meet contract specifications, engineering drawings, regulatory standards, and approved quality procedures. It coordinates quality activities among project stakeholders and maintains the documentation needed to verify compliance and acceptance.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Control Plan
• establish inspection and testing protocols
• lead inspections of filter rehabilitation and backwash installations
• review material submittals and related documentation
• coordinate testing and commissioning
• document and resolve non-conforming work
• maintain quality records and reports
• serve as quality liaison among the owner, engineer, construction manager, contractors, and testing laboratories
• perform quality audits.
