The Lead Veterinarian role is onsite in Acworth, GA. Compensation is $120,000–$165,000 per year. Acworth Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital and boarding facility serving Acworth and surrounding communities since 1980. The lead veterinarian provides medical leadership while delivering patient care and supporting practice operations. The role partners with the practice manager and hospital leadership to maintain medical quality, develop staff, and support a collaborative clinical team.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership
• assist the practice manager with staffing and scheduling
• build relationships within the practice and community
• support staff development through the internal LevelUp training program
• manage a caseload including surgeries and appointments
• oversee patient medical care
• serve as veterinarian of record for required permits and licenses
• partner with hospital leadership on medical quality.
