Substitute Driver

The Substitute Driver role is onsite in Lakewood, NJ, with the main office at 725 Airport Road. Compensation is $15.92 per hour. The driver supports Preferred Behavioral Health Group’s transportation program by transporting consumers to and from programs. The role helps the agency meet transportation needs by safely driving consumers and maintaining vehicle readiness. It also supports orderly van operations and communicates vehicle issues and fuel documentation to the Transportation Coordinator.

What you'll do

• Safely transport consumers to and from programs
• maintain order on vans and enforce policies
• complete monthly vehicle safety monitoring forms
• report vehicle malfunction or damage promptly
• return the van with at least half a tank of gasoline
• purchase gasoline at designated stations
• and review and return gasoline bills for accuracy.
