The Manager, Manufacturing Operations role is onsite in Mesa, AZ. The annual U.S. base salary range is $99,498–$151,719. The manager leads manufacturing execution for Virgin Galactic’s Rocket Motor production and supports its human spaceflight systems and vehicles. The role owns manufacturing build plans and execution strategy, leading teams and coordinating with program management, scheduling, engineering, and other functions. It helps deliver production programs safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining quality, compliance, and workforce readiness.

What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute manufacturing operations, budgets, headcount, and labor deployment
• develop and maintain manufacturing build plans
• lead project planning, recovery plans, and build execution
• report program status, risks, and metrics
• coordinate manufacturing and engineering resources
• manage labor forecasts and budgets
• define technical training requirements
• drive root cause and corrective action and continuous improvement
• promote safety and foreign object debris prevention
• coach and train team members.
